These terms cover your use of ignitionseeds.co.nz and any purchase you make from us. By using the site or placing an order, you're agreeing to them, so please have a read. If we update these terms, we'll post the changes here; continuing to use the site after that means you accept them.
Our store runs on Shopify, which provides the platform we sell through.
1. Using the site
You need to be 18 or older to buy from us. Use the site lawfully, don't attempt to interfere with how it works, and don't introduce viruses or other malicious code. We may suspend or refuse service where these terms are breached.
2. Our products
We sell chilli seeds for home and hobby growing. Seeds are living things: germination rates and growing results depend on your conditions, care, and climate, which we can't control. We stand behind our seed quality (see our returns policy for our germination guarantee), but we can't guarantee specific growing outcomes.
Product photos show mature plants and pods grown in good conditions. Colours may display differently on different screens, and your results may vary with your setup.
Some products are available in limited quantities. We may limit quantities per order or discontinue products at any time.
3. Pricing and orders
All prices are in New Zealand dollars and may change without notice. We may refuse or cancel any order, including where a product has been mispriced or is out of stock; if that happens, we'll let you know and refund anything you've paid. Please keep your account and contact details accurate so we can reach you about your order.
4. Accuracy of information
We work to keep the information on our site accurate and current, but we can't guarantee it's free of errors. We may correct errors and update content at any time. Growing information on our site is general guidance, not a guarantee of results in your specific conditions.
5. Returns, refunds and delivery
Our returns policy and shipping policy form part of these terms.
6. Third-party tools and links
We may provide access to third-party tools or link to other websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices; use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
7. Your feedback
If you send us suggestions, reviews, or other feedback, we may use them (for example, on our site or in our marketing) without restriction or payment. Don't submit anything unlawful, misleading, or that infringes anyone's rights, and don't impersonate others. You're responsible for what you submit, and we may remove content at our discretion.
8. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle your personal information.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or our products, and our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where those apply. If you're buying for business purposes, you agree the Consumer Guarantees Act doesn't apply to that purchase.
10. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms, together with our policies, are the entire agreement between us regarding the site. These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and any disputes will be handled in New Zealand courts.
