Ignition Seeds is a New Zealand chilli seed specialist, founded by two mates with a shared love of bold flavour and serious heat. What began in 2020 as a backyard experiment with jalapeños quickly grew into a genuine obsession — and a mission to help more Kiwis grow outstanding chillies at home.

Today, we grow and supply 40+ chilli varieties, spanning mild and fruity through to some of the hottest chillies on the planet. From our base on Auckland’s North Shore, we cultivate across three growing locations to support quality, variety, and a steady supply for growers right across New Zealand.
